Angie is an efficient, powerful, and scalable web server created based on nginx by some of its former core developers with the intention of extending functionality far beyond the original version. It is distributed under the BSD license.
Angie is a full replacement for nginx, allowing you to use your existing nginx configuration without significant changes.
An important feature of Angie is obtaining compatibility certificates with Russian operating systems, such as Astra Linux SE, Alt, Red OS, and the FSTEC versions of Alt.
Changes in version 1.3.0:
• You can now specify multiple URI matching patterns in a single 'location' directive, which allows combining multiple 'location' blocks with similar settings and reduces code duplication.
• Added the ability to export various statistics and metrics in Prometheus format using the new 'prometheus' and 'prometheus_template' directives. This allows flexible template configuration and detailed information about server performance.
• The statistics interface provided by the 'api' directive now includes detailed information and metrics for groups servers in the 'stream' module. This enables a more complete picture of proxy server operations.
• New options have been added to the 'stream' module for tracking changes (the key to connect to is specified, and iroh finds the associated host and establishes an encrypted connection using the QUIC protocol).
