The beta version of Ubuntu 23.10 "Mantic Minotaur" is now available for download. The stable release is scheduled for October 12.
Ubuntu is a GNU/Linux distribution based on Debian GNU/Linux. The main developer and sponsor is Canonical. The project is currently actively developed and supported by a free community.

• ZFS filesystem support has been reintroduced in the installer
• The Ubuntu Store app manager based on Dart and Flutter has been added
• A new Firmware Updater tool has been added
• Privacy management tools have been expanded
• The security of PPA repository key management has been improved
• The Netplan system is used for storing network interface settings in Ubuntu Desktop
• Official support for camera modules has been added in builds for Raspberry Pi boards
• Kubuntu features the KDE Plasma 5.27.8 desktop and the KDE Gear 23.08.1 application set
• Ubuntu Cinnamon employs the Cinnamon 5.8.4 desktop environment
• Xubuntu has upgraded its environment to Xfce 4.18
