Following the release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.9, Rocky Linux 9.3 has been launched. This distribution has outpaced Alma Linux, Euro Linux, and Oracle Linux with UEK R7 in terms of release timelines.
The founder of the distribution is Georg Kutzner, one of the founders of CentOS, who is also the founder of CtrlIQ. CtrlIQ is a member of the OpenELA clone association. The distribution is fully binary compatible with RHEL 9.3 and currently maintains compatibility with it moving forward, much like another member of the OpenELA clone association—Oracle.
The changes are similar to those in the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.3 release.
