For viewing videos on YouTube, an external video player can be called. The new version introduces the content.javascript.legacy_touch_events setting to restore support for the outdated API for handling touch screen events. The transition to Qt 6.6.1 and Chromium engine 112 has been made. Support for changing the content.canvas_reading setting without restarting has been implemented in builds with Qt 6.6.
Additionally, the release of Tor Browser 13.0.6, focused on ensuring anonymity, security, and privacy, can be noted. The new version fixes a bug that caused crashes when running in Wayland-based environments while attempting to access extensions via pinned buttons on the toolbar. On the Linux platform, the shader cache for NVIDIA graphics cards has been disabled as it can leave potentially sensitive information on the disk.
