Broadcom stated that it provides the BYOS option (Bring Your Own Subscription), which allows for the portability of licenses to verified VMware solutions based on VMware Cloud Foundation. "As part of our transition to subscription and a simplified portfolio, starting today, we will no longer sell perpetual licenses," Broadcom said.
