Opera, a Norwegian company behind the development of the namesake browser, announced the launch of its new AI browser, Opera One, in the European Union (EU) for iOS devices. Opera One will operate on its own unique browser engine. This became possible after Apple softened its App Store policy in response to the demands of the Digital Markets Act (DMA), now allowing the use of not only WebKit, the Safari engine, but also other software solutions on iOS.
