A new release of the FeatherPad text editor has taken place. The key feature of this release is the discontinuation of support for Qt5 (for the past two years, the editor could be built using either Qt5 or Qt6). As a result, support for any encoding other than UTF-8 has been removed from the editor. Users are encouraged to use third-party converters for opening documents in other encodings.
Other changes:
- preventing cursor position changes when dragging files into the viewing area;
- implementation of text replacement using regular expressions;
- fixed a rare issue related to warning panels that occurred when resizing the window;
- various minor fixes and improvements.
