A vulnerability has been discovered in the NFS server code of FreeBSD and OpenBSD projects CVE-2024-29937, leading to remote code execution by arbitrary users. The issue has existed since the very first release and affects the current releases of OpenBSD 7.4 and FreeBSD 14.0. Details will be presented later at the of the report security conference t2, taking place in Helsinki on April 18-19.
