The results of the graphic designers' competition held to update the branding elements of the distribution have been summarized. The competition aimed to create a recognizable and modern design that reflects the essence of Kubuntu, is positively perceived by newcomers and longtime users alike, and harmoniously blends with the stylistic design of KDE and Ubuntu.
Based on the works received from the competition, recommendations have been developed for modernizing the project's logo, desktop background, color palette, and fonts. Vector files with the new logo, offered in various colors, have also been published. The design prepared based on the new recommendations will be utilized in the release of Kubuntu 24.04.
