- An upgraded menu aimed at highlighting the most important elements, reducing visual clutter, and emphasizing priority actions.
- Continued work on performance optimization, reducing page load times, speeding up startup, and decreasing power consumption during offline use. It is noted that work done so far has improved Speedometer 3 test results by 20%.
- The Interop project, aimed at improving compatibility between browsers, ensuring consistent support for web technologies across different browsers, identifying discrepancies in browser behaviors, and simplifying website creation, working across all browsers.
- Integration of artificial intelligence capabilities, with models running locally without reliance on external services. For instance, in the next quarter, Firefox will introduce support for generating text descriptions for images within PDF documents, making information more accessible for individuals with visual impairments.
