The latest release of Apache NetBeans has been announced – an integrated development environment that supports programming languages like Java, PHP, JavaScript, C, C++, and more.
The IDE is written in Java and is distributed under the Apache License 2.0.
In this release:
- For the development environment to function correctly, a minimum of JDK version 17 is now required;
- Improved support for Gradle and Maven build systems;
- Support for Java and PHP languages has been enhanced;
- The interface for working with Git has been improved;
- Support for the Chrome DevTools protocol for NodeJS debugging has been added;
- A new start page has been created;
- and much more.
