The release of 2.25.0 cross-platform console utilities has taken place fastfetch and flashfetch, written in C and distributed under the MIT license. These utilities are designed to display system information. Support is provided for Linux, Android, FreeBSD, macOS, SunOS, and Windows 7+.
Unlike fastfetch, flashfetch does not support extended information output capabilities.
Change log:
- added detection of Moore GPU core count;
- the package count cache is no longer updated when an error occurs while fetching the last modification time;
- added the ability to disable unnecessary package managers with the CMake option -DPACKAGES_DISABLE_?. Possible values can be found with the command $ cmake -L | grep PACKAGES_DISABLE_. Currently, these are AM, APK, BREW, CHOCO, DPKG, EMERGE, EOPKG, FLATPAK, GUIX, LINGLONG, LPKG, LPKGBUILD, MACPORTS, NIX, OPKG, PACMAN, PALUDIS, PKG, PKGTOOL, RPM, SCOOP, SNAP, SORCERY, WINGET, and XBPS. The option do not removes detection code. Runtime detection is disabled. The command —packages-disabled "" can still be used to enable all package managers;
- added the option —show-localip-{speed,mtu};
- added the Btrfs module, displaying all mounted Btrfs volumes, similar to the Zpool module;
- improved the Wifi module for macOS;
- fixed CPU temperature detection in FreeBSD;
- removed support for showPeCoreCount in FreeBSD;
- Wifi speed was used as Ethernet speed in FreeBSD;
- fixed detection of the Parrot logo;
- the TorizonCore logo has been renamed to Torizon OS.
