A new version 1.2.18 of the LSP Plugins effects package has been released.
The plugins are designed for audio processing during mixing and mastering of recordings, in live performance settings, as well as for broadcasting and podcasting. The package is compatible with LADSPA, LV2, VST2 (LinuxVST), VST3, CLAP, and GStreamer formats, and also provides standalone versions supporting JACK.
In this version:
- The Send Mono and Send Stereo plugins have been implemented, allowing the creation of audio streams in shared memory for communication between plugins.
- The Return Mono and Return Stereo plugins have been implemented, enabling the retrieval of audio streams from shared memory.
- Interaction between plugins from the Parametric Equalizer and Graphic Equalizer series has been established through sends and returns, allowing the display of spectrograms from one plugin in the equalizer window.
- A sample reverse button has been added in the Impulse Responses plugins.
- Sidechain support through shared memory has been added for the Autogain plugin.
- Sidechain support through shared memory has been added for single-band dynamic processors:
- Compressor;
- Dynamics Processor;
- Expander;
- Gate;
- Limiter.
- Sidechain support through shared memory has been added for multi-band dynamic processors:
- GOTT Compressor;
- Multiband Compressor;
- Multiband Dynamics Processor;
- Multiband Expander;
- Multiband Gate;
- Multiband Limiter.
- Mono samples are now loaded in the Trigger, Sampler, and Multisampler plugins as stereo samples with a duplicated left channel.
- A pre-reverse button has been added in Sampler and Multisampler, allowing for reverse sampling before applying stretches, cuts, and fades.
- Some UI improvements regarding instrument names in the Multisampler plugin: instrument names are now displayed in the dropdown list and the header of the dropdown group.
- The documentation_path parameter has been added to the global plugin configuration, allowing specification of the offline documentation installation location.
- Build files have been updated to simplify cross-compilation of plugins, with corresponding instructions added to the README.
- LUFS meters have been added to the Loudness Compensator plugins.
- Reference pink noise at various levels has been added to the Loudness Compensator plugins, allowing for quick audio system calibration.
- Directory contents display and navigation buttons for the currently loaded sample have been added to the following plugins:
- Impulse Responses;
- Impulse Reverb;
- Multisampler;
- Sampler;
- Trigger.
- Random crashes when navigating in the file dialog under Windows have been fixed.
- Incorrect UI rendering issues under Windows when the monitor has a DPI different from standard have been corrected.
- Regressions in the offline documentation build have been fixed.
