Qucs-S is a program for simulating analog electronic circuits. You can use either the Ngspice Ngspice general-purpose schematics or QucsatorRF (provided with Qucs-S) for RF devices.
On October 31st of this year, the new release 24.4.0 was introduced.
The main innovations in this release are:
- A utility for viewing Touchstone (SnP) files has been added (see the screenshot). This file format is used for distributing models of RF components in the frequency domain, and VNA instruments save measurement results in SnP files.
- A SPICE_Tline library has been added, which contains models of transmission lines for Ngspice.
- A number of bugs have been fixed.
- The QucsatorRF engine has been updated to version 1.0.3.
