On November 13, after more than a year of development, the release of the high-performance HTML5 and CSS parsing library 2.4.0 took place. lexbor, written in C without third-party dependencies, and distributed under the Apache 2.0 license.
The library is divided into modules (Core, CSS, DOM, Encoding, HTML, NS, Punycode, Selectors, Tag, Unicode, URL, Utils), which can be compiled and used separately (with the CMake option LEXBOR_BUILD_SEPARATELY=ON).
There are third-party bindings and wrappers available for the library for Elixir, Crystal, Python, D, Ruby, and PHP.
