The release of the VirtualBox 7.1.6 virtualization system has taken place. Among the changes, two serious vulnerabilities that allowed local users to elevate their privileges have also been closed.

- Network: Changes have been made that replaced NAT engines with libslirp.
- Guest OS: An OS type for Windows Server 2025 has been added.

- Host Solaris: GUI-compatible libraries VirtualBox libqgtk2styleVBox.so and libqgtk2VBox.so have been removed from the Solaris installation packages, as they depend on GTK2, which is no longer supported.
