Oracle has released a corrective update for the virtualization system VirtualBox 7.1.10, noting 9 changes.
- Support for the Linux kernel 6.15 has been added in the guest additions for hosts and guest systems with Linux. Issues with building modules for packages using the UEK8 (Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel) kernel used in Oracle Linux 9 have been resolved.
- Crashes in the VM Selector process due to missing libdl.so and libpthread.so libraries have been fixed in the guest additions for host systems based on Linux. The libIDL library has been removed from the build dependencies.
- Support for the in-development kernel 6.16 has been added to the guest additions for Linux guest systems.
- Issues with switching audio devices and crashes in VBoxManage when executing the 'guestcontrol run' command have been fixed on Windows hosts.
- A problem preventing data from being pasted from the clipboard into a guest system accessed via RDP has been fixed.
