ByteDance has introduced the TikTokSans font, optimized for displaying mobile interfaces on high-density pixel screens and for creating subtitles for videos (the font is already used by default for subtitles in videos posted on the TikTok service). TikTokSans is also well-suited for use on the web and in user interfaces. The original font components are open under the OFL 1.1 (Open Font License), allowing unlimited modification of the font, including commercial use, printing, and on websites.
The font supports over 460 languages, including Cyrillic-based languages. It is variable and allows flexible changes to stylistic characteristics; for instance, you can adjust the settings for skew, weight, height, spacing, and other parameters. There are 14 basic styles offered, over 1000 glyphs, and 4 sans-serif weights (Regular, Italic, Expanded, and Condensed).
