A corrective release of Firefox 141.0.2 is available, addressing several issues:
- Crash on startup in some Linux systems with older versions of proprietary NVIDIA drivers.
- Inability to launch on some systems with a GTK library compiled without Wayland support.
- A regression that caused incompatibilities due to the ability to drag canvas objects.
- Crash when inspecting pages with iframe elements through web developer tools.
- Minor glitches in user interface rendering (1, 2, 3, 4).
- Navigation issues using the keyboard due to focus leaving the content area when clicking on a pinned tab.
Additionally, new features in Firefox nightly builds can be highlighted:
- Support for previewing a collapsed tab group when hovering over the group name (enabled via browser.tabs.groups.hoverPreview.enabled in about:config).
- Ability to find the active tab in a collapsed tab group (you can work with the individual tab without expanding the whole group).
- Ability to upload your avatar for the user profile in the browser.
