Lansweeper has reported an increase in the popularity of Linux among corporate clients using the Lansweeper inventory platform. Scanning approximately 18.5 million devices revealed an increase in the share of Linux on corporate laptops and PCs from 1.6% in January to 1.9% in June. When considering only new devices introduced after March 1, the share of Linux systems reached 2.5%. According to the Chief Technology Officer of Lansweeper, the observed change does not appear to be a one-time spike, but rather a reflection of continuous exponential growth.
