An update to the Linux distribution 'Alt Workstation K 11.2' is available, offering a KDE desktop environment designed for office and home use. The build is prepared for x86_64 architecture and is based on the ALT 11 platform. An installation ISO image (8.8 GB) and a separate Live build (5.4 GB) have been created for download.
The downloaded version can only be used freely by individuals, including individual entrepreneurs. Commercial and government organizations can download and test the distribution, but for permanent use in corporate infrastructure, legal entities must purchase licenses or enter into written licensing agreements.
Key Changes:
- The user environment has been updated to KDE Plasma 6.4, KDE Gear 25.08, and KDE Frameworks 6.20. Versions of Mesa 25.1, NVIDIA drivers 580, and Qt 6.9 have been updated.
