Richard Henderson, one of the maintainers of the QEMU project and the second most active contributor, has published a set of patches that remove support for 32-bit host systems from QEMU. Support for 32-bit host environments was deprecated in April last year with QEMU 10.0, and in the December release 10.2, support for the mips32 and ppc32 platforms was removed from the TCG (Tiny Code Generator).
If no unforeseen issues arise, the upcoming QEMU 11.0 release, scheduled for mid-spring, is set to remove support for the remaining i386, arm, ppc, and riscv32 platforms from TCG, as well as clean up the codebase and build system from components for32-bit hosts.
