Chawan is a text-based web browser and pager for Unix-like systems, focused on implementing modern web standards. Chawan aims to be self-sufficient, user-friendly, and extensible.
It includes features such as CSS, embedded images in the terminal (this feature is optional; configuration editing is required), and JavaScript implemented through a small independent browser engine.
Most of Chawan was developed from scratch in the Nim programming language, which ensures memory safety.
Version 0.3.3 is a patch release aimed at fixing various issues found in version 0.3.2. No new features have been added.
