Inspired Nier: Automata post-apocalyptic action Stellar Blade from the South Korean studio Shift Up, which initially lacked a Russian voiceover, but dedicated enthusiasts have already rectified this.
The Russian translation and voiceover studio Mechanics VoiceOver announced announced the release of the long-awaited Russian dubbing for Stellar Blade. The localization can download be found in the team's VK group — instructions for installation are provided there as well.
“Now you can fully [appreciate] this [action] without being distracted by reading subtitles. It has been a long and challenging journey that our team has proudly undertaken,” said Mechanics VoiceOver.
Users in the comments expressed their joy at the long-awaited premiere, seeing it as a reason to replay the game again with the Russian voiceover, and thanked the Mechanics VoiceOver team for their hard work.
Players take on the role of a fighter from the seventh descent unit Eva, who must reclaim Earth from hostile beings. The project features a semi-open world, a story with plot revelations, spectacular battles, alternate appearances, and a photo mode.
Stellar Blade was released on April 26, 2024, for PS5, and on June 12, 2025, it made its way to Steam and Epic Games Store. On Valve's service, the game has received over 36,000 “very positive” reviews (rating 93%).
