The new version of GNOME Resources 1.10 has been released — a system monitoring application in the GNOME environment, now used by default, for example, in the upcoming Ubuntu 26.04 LTS. GNOME Resources 1.10 adds support for monitoring AMD Ryzen AI NPU and other new features.
Fixes:
- item names are read out for screen reading programs;
- navigation in the 'Applications' and 'Processes' sections using the keyboard has been fixed;
- CPU frequency readings have been corrected, which were inaccurate in some cases;
- disk names were not updated when changing the data block prefix.
New:
- support for AMD NPU using the amdxdna driver (note that for proper detection, the kernel and firmware must be updated);
- searching for multiple process names simultaneously is possible using the '|' operator in the search field;
- support for detecting AppImage applications managed by appimaged;
- support for detecting applications managed through Portable;
- LXC bridge network interfaces are correctly identified.
