Version 9.5.0 of the library has been released libzim, designed for working with files in the format of ZIMformat has taken place. The library is developed and sponsored by the Kiwix.
ZIM — a format meant for offline storage of information obtained from the Internet as a single file. A ZIM file contains logically related HTML pages (and sometimes even the entire website) in a compressed form, along with functional hyperlinks, images, sound, and video.

A brief list of the library's features includes:

- searching by article titles;
- optional support Xapian for full-text search. Many ZIM files can be downloaded here.
The library is written in C++ and is distributed under the GNU GPL 2.0 license.
