In February 2001, the IPLabs Linux Team and LRN decided to merge, resulting in the creation of ALT Linux. For a quarter of a century, we have been making significant contributions to the development of free software in Russia.
The team's achievements include millions of lines of code, collaboration with leaders in the international Open Source movement, and one of the largest independent repositories of free software in the world — 'Sisyphus.'
For 25 years, we have consistently adhered to a simple yet profound principle:
"The intellectual contribution of each is the heritage of all."
This approach allows us to address the crucial state task of ensuring the technological independence of the country in the field of information technology.
