Mozilla is working on modernizing the Firefox interface as part of the Nova project. Several designs are available that allow evaluation of key trends.
The most noticeable change is the enhanced rounding of tab buttons and the address bar, along with the merging of separate rounded blocks for the upper area with the tab panel, navigation panel, sidebar, content area of web pages, and elements displayed when opening a new tab. Different blocks are highlighted by their gradient color shades.
