Podroid — launching Linux containers on Android without root access

The Podroid app allows users to run a lightweight Alpine Linux virtual machine on Android devices using QEMU and provides a fully operational container execution environment. Podman with an integrated terminal.

The app for its functionality uses Termux as a terminal emulator, Limbo Emulator — a QEMU-based emulator for Android, Podman for launching containers with Alpine Linux.

Among its features: port forwarding from the container to the actual Android system through SSH.

The app requires Android 9+ arm64.
