The app size is 1.13 GB, which can be attributed to the included AI model, Gemini Nano. Upon launch, it requests several system permissions, after which a simple chat interface opens.
The AI assistant has numerous capabilities, including those of an AI agent. It works with checklists on the device; creates new text documents or prepares summaries of existing ones; adds events to the calendar; automates tasks in the browser; sets timers; conducts in-depth research; performs quick photo searches; searches on Google; explains terms; gives advice and suggests ideas; helps 'understand' people and events in context; assists in 'recalling' events; and generates conversation summaries when the context changes.
In the COSMO settings, you can also choose the operation mode of the AI assistant: local, with the model running on the device; cloud, with the AI model connecting to external resources; and hybrid, allowing a combination of both types of models.
