Along with the celebration of the first anniversary, a new version has been released 25.1.6 of the X.org graphical server fork — XLibre.
- Support added seatd, a daemon providing universal access to input/output devices without requiring superuser rights or the presence of systemd.
- Improved support for the proprietary Nvidia driver:
- Support for version 570 has been enhanced, and additional configuration of Xserver is no longer necessary for this version.
- Optional support for older versions 340, 390, and 470 has been added. To enable this, the legacy_nvidia_padding flag must be specified when building XLibre.
- To enable support for version 340, the legacy_nvidia_340x flag must also be enabled during the build.
- The 2D acceleration subsystem Glamor has been included.
- Support code for Framebuffer, primarily needed for embedded systems, has been restored.
- It is now possible to set a separate DPI value for each monitor.
- The path to driver modules can be specified on the fly.
- Numerous bug fixes and code cleanup.
