On June 10, version 1.2.0 of the cross-platform multithreaded console utilities was released. par2cmdline to create, check and restore files in the format PAR 2.0, using Reed-Solomon codes.
Assemblies are provided for Linux, FreeBSD, MacOS and Windows.
The project is written in C++ and is distributed under the GNU GPL 3 license.
Changes:
- Added the ability to accept input files from standard input (stdin);
- Fixed a crash when the number of input files exceeded 2000, which occurred when using default settings in special cases;
- Fixed detection of RAM volume;
- missing file fixed in include;
- improved man and description of command line parameters;
- other improvements and bug fixes.
