An update for the Linux distribution 'Alt Workstation K 11.4' has been released, offering a KDE desktop environment designed for office and home use. The build is prepared for the x86_64 architecture and is based on the ALT 11 platform. Installation ISO images (10.7 GB) and a separate Live build (6.4 GB) are available for download.
The downloaded version can only be used freely by individuals, including individual entrepreneurs. Commercial and government organizations can download and test the distribution, but for permanent use in corporate infrastructure, legal entities must purchase licenses or enter into written licensing agreements.
Key Changes:
- The user environment has been updated to KDE Plasma 6.6, which includes support for text recognition on screenshots, a new on-screen keyboard, color correction options for individuals with color perception issues, and automatic screen brightness adjustment on devices with a light sensor.
