An experimental release of the open implementation of the Win32 API — Wine 11.13 has been published. Since the release of 11.12, 22 bugs have been resolved and 207 changes made.
The most significant changes:
- Improved text cursor positioning during input.
- Improved key scan code mapping when using X11.
- Assembly optimizations have been added for the ARM64EC architecture (ARM64 Emulation Compatible) in the integrated Wine components of FFmpeg, such as the libswresample (audio resampling) and libswscale (image scaling and pixel format conversion) libraries. The ARM64EC architecture is designed to simplify the porting of applications originally written for x86_64 systems to ARM64 systems, allowing for the execution of individual modules with x86_64 code in an ARM64 environment using an emulator.
- Bug reports related to the operation of applications have been closed: Adobe Acrobat Pro 7, Acrobat Reader 7, Office 2000, winbox64.exe, Nelogica Profitchart, Sim Racing Studio, Slingplayer 2, Sony Acid Pro 7.0.
- Bug reports related to the operation of games have been closed: GTA: Vice City, Requiem: Avenging Angel, Tales of Zestiria 1.2, Hayoola, Age of Mythology, Succubus Heaven.
