Canonical has revealed its financial results for 2025. The revenue for 2025 was $345 million, and the net profit was $22.8 million with a gross margin of 89%. In comparison, the revenue in 2024 was $292 million, and the net profit was $18.1 million. Regarding expenses, 27% of the funds received were spent on sales and marketing, 11% (13% in 2024) on research and development, and 47% on general expenses and administrative needs. The average number of employees increased from 596 to 607 over the year.
