A port of the DOS Navigator file manager has been prepared, redesigned for building with the Free Pascal compiler. Currently, builds for DOS and Linux are supported. Panel display, viewer, editor, command execution, basic file operations, and a built-in Tetris game are already working. To ensure license compliance during the porting process, all traces of the original Turbo Vision library code from Borland have been removed (a rewritten modern C version of tvision in Pascal is used instead). The encoding is still single-byte due to limitations of the original architecture (the same issue exists in Necromancer DOS Navigator). A separate branch, utf8-inside, is working on the translation to utf8.
