The Compulab team has created the Airtop3, a small form factor computer that combines high performance and complete quiet operation.
The device is housed in a housing with dimensions of 300 Γ 250 Γ 100 mm. The maximum configuration involves the use of an Intel Core i9-9900K processor of the Coffee Lake generation, which contains eight processing cores with multi-threading support. Clock speeds range from 3,6 GHz to 5,0 GHz.
The graphics subsystem can contain a professional Quadro RTX 4000 accelerator with 8 GB of memory. The maximum allowable amount of DDR4-2666 RAM is 128 GB.
The computer can be equipped with two fast solid-state NVMe SSD M.2 modules and four 2,5-inch drives. In this case, the total capacity of the data storage subsystem reaches 10 TB.
Among other things, it is worth highlighting the possibility of installing a combined Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2 wireless adapter, as well as a 10 Gbit Etherent network controller.
Despite its high performance, the new product relies on passive cooling, which makes it quiet during operation. A large number of different interfaces are available.
The Compulab Airtop3 starts at around $1000 when configured with a Celeron G4900 chip, excluding RAM and storage modules.
