Chrome 76 is expected to be released in July, where Google default support for Flash. For now, there are no talks of complete removal, but the corresponding change has already been added to the experimental Canary branch.
Reports indicate that in this version, Flash can still be restored in the settings under 'Advanced > Privacy and Security > Site Settings', but this will work until Chrome 87, expected in December 2020. Additionally, this feature will only be active until the browser is restarted. After closing and reopening, the playback confirmation must be redone for each site.
Complete removal of Flash support is anticipated in 2020. This will be synchronized with Adobe's previously announced plan to discontinue support for the technology. Meanwhile, Firefox will disable the Adobe Flash plugin by the fall of this year. Specifically, this concerns version 69, which will be available in September. In the ESR branches of Firefox, Flash support will remain until the end of 2020. In the regular builds, Flash can be forcefully activated through about:config.
Thus, soon all major browsers will abandon the outdated technology, although, to be fair, Flash had its advantages. If developers had timely closed the 'gaps' and addressed the issues, many would still likely be using it today.
It is also worth noting that the abandonment of Flash will 'kill' numerous sites featuring online games, which some may find unfavorable.
