TP-Link has launched the Deco W2400 system, designed for deploying a Wi-Fi network in large homes or apartments.
The set includes two routers. They are claimed to cover an area of up to 280 square meters with a quality Wi-Fi signal. If needed, the system can be expanded with additional routers.
The devices can operate in two frequency bands — 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. The IEEE 802.11ac standard is supported. Data transfer speeds reach 300 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band and 867 Mbps in the 5 GHz band.
WAN/LAN ports are available for connecting network cables. The dimensions of the routers are 190.5 × 90.7 × 90.7 mm.
It is noted that the TP-Link Deco W2400 system can connect up to 100 devices wirelessly. There is a possibility to use parental control features.
The kit can be purchased now at an approximate price of 100 US dollars.
