In the Windows blog, Brandon LeBlanc clarified that MSPaint is popular among many due to its simplicity and speed. According to him, new features will be available for the program in the May update.
As is known, Paint has long worked with a mouse and graphic tablet; now keyboard support will also be added. The developers have also improved the interaction of the editor with Windows Narrator and other similar applications for screen reading. Whether the program's capabilities will be expanded in the future remains unclear. For now, it is known that the program will 'understand' arrow keys, 'Space', Shift, Ctrl, Tab, and Esc. It should be noted that in the latest builds of Windows 10, there is also the Paint 3D program, but it has not gained popularity. It seems that in Redmond, they have finally begun to change their strategy — not just imposing new features on users but also listening to them.
