🥇BlackArch release 2019.06.01, a distribution for security testing

Prepared new builds BlackArch Linux, a specialized distribution for security research and system vulnerability examination. The distribution is based on the Arch Linux package system and includes about 2200 security-related utilities. The maintained project package repository is compatible with Arch Linux and can be used in regular installations of Arch Linux. The builds are prepared as a Live image of 11.4 GB (x86_64) and a minimal installation image for network install (650 MB).

Window managers dwm, fluxbox, openbox, awesome, wmii, i3 are available as graphical environments to choose from,
spectrwm are offered as options. The distribution can operate in Live mode, but also develops its own installer with capabilities for building from source code. In addition to the x86_64 architecture, packages in the repository are also built for ARMv6, ARMv7, and Aarch64 systems, and can be installed from Arch Linux ARM.

Key Changes:

Includes over 150 new programs;

The ‘jedi-vim’ plugin has been added and previously available plugins for the Vim editor have been updated;

The Linux kernel has been updated to version 5.1.4. System packages have been updated;

Cleaned up the content of the iso image;

The installer has been updated;

Updated Xresources/Xdefaults settings and added support for the rxvt-unicode terminal;

Introduced a pre-testing system for packages for building the iso image;

Updated all distribution-specific utilities, packages, and configuration files;

Updated menus for window managers in awesome, fluxbox, and openbox.
