ABBYY Company announced the release of a new mobile application FineScanner AI for iOS and Android, designed to solve tasks related to document scanning.
Created by a Russian developer, the product allows you to create PDF or JPG files from any printed documents (invoices, certificates, contracts, personal documents). The program includes OCR technology, which recognizes texts in 193 languages and exports results in 12 popular formats, including DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, and PDF. Completed documents can be transferred to any of eight cloud storage options, printed, sent via email, or opened in another PDF working application. For scanning books and magazines, FineScanner AI features a BookScan function, which automatically splits the photographed book spread into two pages and creates a scan copy that can be recognized to obtain an editable file.
The key feature of the new FineScanner AI is the support for machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies based on neural networks, which help the user find any image with text on their smartphone to create a document in PDF or JPEG.
