The release of GNU nano 4.3 has been announced. Changes in the new version:
- The ability to read and write to FIFO has been restored.
- Startup time has been reduced as full parsing is now only done when necessary.
- Accessing help (^G) when using the –operatingdir option no longer causes a crash.
- Reading a large or slow file can now be interrupted using ^C.
- Cut, delete, and copy operations are now undone separately when mixed.
- Meta-D now reports the correct number of lines (zero for an empty buffer).
