On July 1, 2019, the release of GNU Rush 2.0 was announced.
GNU Rush is a Restricted User Shell designed to provide trimmed non-interactive access to remote resources via ssh (for example, GNU Savannah). Its flexible configuration gives system administrators complete control over the capabilities available to users, as well as monitoring of system resource usage such as virtual memory, CPU time, etc.
In this release, the configuration processing code has been completely rewritten. The changes introduce a new configuration file syntax that offers a wide range of control structures and transformation instructions for handling arbitrary requests.
