On July 5th, a new version of the program for visualizing weather information, distributed in GRIB format files of versions 1 and 2, was released. This version continues to expand the list of supported weather forecast models and adds the ability to view additional data for already supported models.
- Added the NOADD GFS model.
- Reanalysis data from the ECMWF ERA5 model is now available.
- Reflectivity data from the GFS model is now available.
It should be noted that the XyGrib project is a development of the previously known zyGrib project. Version 1.0.1 of XyGrib was released based on zyGrib 8.0.1. A significant difference of XyGrib is the support for more than one weather forecast model (the zyGrib program only supports the GFS model), the transition to a new version of the data accumulator server (which is supported under the OpenGribs project), and using the GRIB v2 format by default, along with the ability to update the program version using the application's own resources (including for Linux).
