Microsoft has promised to maintain the familiar look and features of the classic Edge in the new version of the browser. It seems they have kept that promise. The new Edge is already more deeply integrated with Windows 10 settings and beyond.
The latest Canary build has introduced the ability to 'Share this page' with contacts, a feature that was present in the classic version. However, it now works a bit differently — instead of a separate button next to the address bar, you now need to open the menu with three dots and select the desired option from there.
This feature allows users to share web pages with contacts or publish pages on social media applications with a single click. It also lets you send a link to an Android device via the Microsoft Your Phone app. Additionally, you can create a reminder using Cortana.
Among other improvements, there's a new favorites button on the toolbar, which will function just like in the original Edge. Also, this build has enhanced text search capabilities for the open page. Text Finder now makes it easier to search for text on the page.
The algorithm is simple — you need to highlight the text you want, press the Ctrl + F combination, and the highlighted word will be automatically inserted into the search field. This feature is not available in the original version of Chrome and other browsers based on it. Although, it saves time.
