You can even set reminders to repeat and check the history of notifications that have been sent to or received from other users. This works through the usual command, 'Ok, Google.'
Google states that the idea is not to enable people to constantly pester friends or family members with silly requests. The company envisions these reminders as a way to send notes of encouragement or jokes in an asynchronous or scheduled manner. For instance, this approach could be used to wish someone good luck in a big endeavor at a designated time or place, especially if the person cannot send a regular SMS or wants to ensure the message arrives on time. Nevertheless, Google will allow users to block individuals who misuse the feature: the company mentions that the blocking option exists primarily to prevent children from spamming their parents.
