Dell presented an intriguing new product at gamescom 2019, held in Cologne, Germany — the OptiPlex 7070 Ultra all-in-one desktop computer.
The main feature of this device is its modular design. All electronic components are concealed within a special block located in the area of the stand.
Thus, over time, users will be able to upgrade the system simply by changing the module in the stand. Furthermore, this solution allows for the use of various displays, including those from third-party manufacturers.
Customers of the OptiPlex 7070 Ultra all-in-one are offered an extensive selection of components. This includes various eighth-generation Intel Core processors — up to the Core i7-8665U model. The DDR4-2400 RAM ranges from 4 GB to 64 GB.
It is possible to install two storage devices, including 2.5-inch hard drives with capacities of up to 2 TB and M.2 solid-state modules with capacities of up to 1 TB.
The graphics subsystem uses an integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 accelerator. There is a gigabit Ethernet controller. Additionally, there is an option to install Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless adapters.
The size and resolution of the display are determined by the customer's preferences. The computer can run Windows 10 or Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. Sales will begin on September 24.
