A new version (5.11) of the Telegram messenger is available for download, featuring a rather interesting function — the so-called Scheduled Messages.
Now, when sending a message, you can specify the date and time for its delivery to the recipient. To do this, simply press and hold the send button: in the menu that appears, select the 'Send Later' option and set the desired parameters. After that, the message will be automatically sent at the specified time.
At the moment of sending any scheduled message, the sender will receive a corresponding notification. In the 'Favorites' chat, you can also send a reminder to yourself.
The new version of Telegram also includes other changes. For example, you can customize the app to your liking by setting any color for the 'Mono' and 'Dark' themes. Based on the selected colors and background, you can quickly create a new theme. Other users will be able to install this theme via a link. Moreover, if the theme is edited, it will be updated for everyone who uses it.
New privacy settings have been implemented. In particular, you can limit the people who can find you on Telegram when they add your phone number to their contacts.
Finally, new animated emojis have been added.
