Release of Lutris v0.5.3 – an open gaming platform designed to simplify the installation and launch of games on GNU/Linux from GOG, Steam, Battle.net, Origin, Uplay, and others using specially prepared scripts.
New Features:
- Added D9VK option;
- Added support for Discord Rich Presence;
- Added the ability to launch the WINE console;
- When DXVK or D9VK is enabled, the WINE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE variable is set to 1 to prevent crashes of 32-bit games;
- Lutris remains minimized when launching games through shortcuts;
- The state of the right panel now updates when shortcuts are added/removed;
- The working directory no longer points to /tmp;
- Switched the PC-Engine emulator module from pce to pce_fast mode;
- Some changes made for future Flatpak support;
- Updated Lutris logo.
Fixes:
- Fixed crash due to incorrect GOG certificates;
- Fixed a bug that caused an erroneous dialog about missing provided files;
- Fixed crash when receiving unexpected data from xrandr;
- Fixed a bug that caused non-working anti-aliasing in some games;
- Fixed sorting of games with titles starting with lowercase letters;
- Fixed a bug in the process monitor that prevented certain games from launching;
- Fixed an error that prevented certain options and executable files from launching when ESYNC was enabled;
- Fixed issues with restoring .dll files when disabling DXVK/D9VK;
- Fixed some issues on systems with non-English locales;
- Fixed some distro-specific Lutris issues on Ubuntu and Gentoo.
